I guess we got off point. I would have to agree that the valve springs are most likely the limiting factor with regard to the inability of Kevnsue's stock 5.0 to throttle up to 5800 rpms......

Well I am sure the car would run better had I not been loosing a clutch at the time. That would acount for my 2.20 60 ft times. I now have a new clutch and MT Street's to go back up and take another shot at it. That is why now I say the car should run low 13teen's. GOSH!!!!!! How come everyone is so diffencive on this forum. We all like the same cars but since I have put this thread on my car has been called a slow Turd!! I do not think it is a turd!!! As for me I have been around a little I am not completely new to the sport. I have 4 fox mustangs this is the last one I picked up. I was not saying anything bad about the mid west I just happen to live in the northwest so getting my biscut's and gravy from you guy's would be difficult.

ok not trying to stur the pot here but i tend to agree here with kevnsue. i am NOT and expierenced driver but to me shifter my car at 4500 seems to make it run slower, i have had it dynoed and if i can find the sheet you guys could correct me by lookin at it and tellin me the peak cuz honestly i was kinda lost lookin at it. but i gotta find it first

put in fresh springs - if that doesn't do it, pull and port your lower or put a new intake on it and then I bet it will.
