Hello Stangers
I wanted to introduce myself. I Have a 1986 ASC McLaren Convertible #196 of 245 made that year and have been reading your forums for mod idea's. I'm really looking at bolt-on mods for now. I love this car, for one its a conversation starter when in public because unless your a Mustang Fan noone understands what it is. Mine is a Capri with the HO 5.0. I got it in Good Shape however needs some minor work. My first project is a Tune-up/ Valve Cover Gasket replacement (right side is leaking).

Here is a couple of pics of the McLaren, Needs some detail work but the paint is in good shape. It has everything original in it except the previous owner mounted a cd changer to the Ricaro seats
 . Its looking like I'm going to need a new trunk latch and another motor for the top but other than that nothing major.

you know i almost agree with you ujslost cause my 84 gt 350 is a four eye but if we had our own forum we couldnt pester the shit out of you guys.

looks like its in pretty good shape what you planning on doing to it if anything. how far you planing on going...power goals....or track times...

Nothing exterme, some bolt on mods and thats about it. lol I say that now but I have been through this before. Once the Mod-Bug hits its hard to stop.
I'm going to start with a week end of claying, wax and a coat of liquid Glass. It needs shoes.
