New here. Rate my Stang

New here and I just bought a mustang. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if I got a good deal/car. Here is a link. I saw it on Ebay and bought it locally. The guy at JPC he refers to in the description is the one from pinks, Justin. What he forgot to mention in the description was it has a Diablo chip, a small wear mark on the driver seat from seatbelt, small rust on trunk, had a spare unpainted trunk, has replaced mostly everything else on the car, has a complete weatherstrip kit with it, and that it's the cleanest mustang I have seen around my way. Never wrecked, painted, or seen rain. I paid 6,000. Let me know what you think.

I already own it. Why is it so hard to make an opinion based upon what info you have? Is this too hard of a question?

well my house has a shingle roof. a carport and 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. I have a trampoline out back. Its an older house, fresh paint on it also. How much you think my house is worth?
Do ya get where I am coming from now?

Your car might be worth $5k, but your attitude is worth $0

Decent price

Never seen that color combo with gray interior.
Most had red/black or tan like mine.

Out of curiosity, I would have asked why a motor with only 8000 miles was already bored 0.01 over.
It doesn't really matter though provided the work was done right.
The long block description sounds very close to the various FMS crate motors offered over the years.

I have almost the same engine setup and V1 but with a Holley intake. The description was dead on about the V1, it is very annoying at idle.

Looks good. I buy cars online and off E-bay all the time. No different than buying car parts or CDs for that matter. It's buyer beware even if you buy in person from your best bud. 6000 isn't out of line for that car if the description is accurate. You couldn't build the same car for that.

That being the feedback of the person selling the car, I read it, 1 negative out of 20 and his responce would indicate that the person that left the negative feedback may have been a scammer. As long as you buy things within the guidelines of E-bay, you shouldn't have major problems and there are protections that work. It's when you get greedy and try to work around the rules that you get burned. I have almost 300 registered transactions on E-bay and have a 100% rating. To the best of my memory, Iv'e only been burned once, and it was a seller out of British Columbia. Hence forth, no dealings with anyone outside the US and inperson contact with anyone that seems iffy.

For power I rate the car an 8, but for outside appearance I give it a 3.

Reason for this is that it looks stock, and I REALLY hate those carrier rails on cars! I don't care if it's on a fox body or a 67 camaro, they look gay and grandmother like....
