nevermind.....read ryans post again and said he didn't need need it and could unplug the vacuum line and make sure the egr valve was closed. Might just make a block off plate or thread it and plug the hole. Now that I think about it my 91 w/ the holley had the vacuum off and valve closed w/ no probs. Ya'll been a big help. Thanx again.

you can run without the EGR all together by getting an EGR delete plate that will take the place of the EGR spacer (that normall goes between the throttle body and intake).

eBay Motors: MUSTANG EGR PLATE DELETE 70mm BILLET 70 mm 65mm 65 mm (item 350073148972 end time Jun-30-08 10:53:57 PDT)

Then if you want to keep your car from throwing codes, you can buy this...

eBay Motors: MUSTANG EGR ELIMINATOR /SIMULATOR 1987-1995 (item 360065250290 end time Jul-03-08 09:59:07 PDT)

It plugs into the wiring harness and keeps the computer from throwing codes and also from doing the EGR timing advance.

However, just unpluging the vacuum from the EGR will work too.
