looking at getting a fox body.


well, ive already got a 2007 mustang, and im looking to get a fox body to work on and make a strip/street car. ive found a couple of craigslist.

i found a 5.0 interceptor for 500 bucks.

i really just want something to restore and make badass.

yes and no

some old cop cars got beat on hardcore when they were in service.

but a lot of them had a cop car paint job, some even have the strobe lights on top. i want to say some had gears and possibly other hop up parts but im not exactly sure.

but having an intercepter fox would be badass

The "interceptor 5.0" is an unofficial/different/other term describing the "Severe Service Package" Mustang offered by Ford for law enforcement. They were mostly stock with a few cooling, alternator, floor board mods, and a few other small things.
E.V.O.O.A. - Mustang Special Service Registry has much more info on the changes over the years.
