Msd Ignition Location ???

hey everyone, im still in the process of ponymakeover lol, i removed the 2 MSD boxes out from my car, because they were not helping my car out at all. It had a MSD 6A + MSD Multi-Step Retard. So i picked up the MSD 6BTM.
Im debating which is the better location for the box. its either in the engine bay, or by the passenger floor. Any reccomendations???

iknow its the wrong place but
4-SALE MSD 6A, MSD Multi-Step Retard

thanks

Inside the driver side fender well works good. Mine has been there for years. Easy access to the stock coil and the battery through the hole where the washer fluid lid is.
In terms of spark, the 6A is the same thing as a 6BTM. The 6BTM adds a built in single stage boost retard and a rev limiter. The stock computer has a limter at 6250 or your chip may have bypassed or changed that to something else. I think the only difference you have now is one less stage of boost retard and about $400 less dollars in your pocket

hey, yea thanks for the help. I removed my wipermotor, and im either going to mount it there, or inside the cabin on the passenger side. Yes it was a very expensive set up, but from what i have heard from some drag racers is that the 6BTM is almost the best besides the digital 7.

mount it infront of the radiator behind the bumper support ( and hope your rad doesn't spring a leak )
