where did you get the trans from? if its from a car or truck with a 4.6 or 5.4 you will need some sort of adapter that im not sure if it exists.Im pretty sure it has a integrated
bell so it wont just bolt up to a 5.0. Why not just get an AOD?

its in my car now. i plan on swaping ina pushrod motor but i kno this tranny needs work so i either wanna buy a transmission i can use for either modular or pushrod, or have this 1 built and bolt it up wen i get new motor. but the 4r70w i believe is the same transmission in v6 pushrod 4.0 rangers

the 4r70w was out of the F-150's

how did you get that into your car

and you will need the computer from the vehical you got it out of which means you need eather the 4.6 or 5.4 modular engine

if you want an transmission that works on both modular and pushrod engines you might as well go with a 5 speed

but you will need different bellhousings for the modular and pushrod engines

yes but finding a bellhousing for the 4r70w to fit a pushrod motor is probably next to impossible
