Need info on some world windsor sr heads

I just got a great deal on a set of world windsor sr cast iron heads. does anyone have any info on these4 heads. I have a 92 5.0 HO motor with stock pistons and cam. Is this head a direct bolt on or is piston modification needed? any info would be great. Guy wants 500 for them. Is that a good deal?

They are an excellent head.

Off the top of my head....I cant remember if the 2.02-1.60 valves in those heads will have clearance issues with a stock cam or not.

BTW....I've got a buddie who's making well over 600 hp N/A with those heads on a 408 Windsor.

thanks for that info. The guy i'm buying them from had them ported and polished and new comp cams springs installed. I believe he also put in new manley valves so they seem like real nice heads for the price. I just don't want to be having to cut pistons or anything. The guy i called at world products told me they were direct bolt ons but i don't know how reliable there tech line.

I believe with a stock cam...you should be fine.

But no matter what...always verify your piston to valve clearance.

THose heads

I am running them in my 351W. The only problem I have run into is the tubes interfere with spark plug access. A real pain on the drivers side.
