throttle body back firing?

i have a 93 5.0.. its has miss firing from the throttle body, and at start up it idles between 1 and 2k rpms and then it drops right ontop of 0, and then it shuts off. does anyone know what this can be?

how can you be miss firing at the TB? have you done a tune up recently or changed the ignition coil?

Possibly a bad intake gasket... the one between the upper and lower.

whats your timing set at? sounds like a timing issue
