Smog Pump Not Hooked To Exhausts


i bought my mustang and the tube that comes up from the smog pump is cut that usually hooks down into the exaust. is this a big problem ?

Plug it up and drop the polution junk out...Get a shorter belt and be all good...

i am really gonna clean my engine area up. The smog and a/c are comin out, the top end and stroker shit is goin in, and i am gonna try to organize the wires in an orderly fashion.

If you still have the catalytic converters, they will eventually clog without the smog pump. If you don't wan the pump anymore then get an aftermarket exhaust with the cats.
