Spyder Intake

okay well Im about ready to replace my TFS track heat intake with A spyder intake... now here comes the question... I know I need larger injectors (30# are working at 92% already) so 42# injectors would naturally be my choice, with that would I need new fuel rails maybe even a 255lph fuel pump? also Im assuming the best MAF and TB would just be the 90mm right? and of course I am gonna have jay grind a new cam for me...and I would get another dyno tune... wow this is turning out rather expensive...I might as well just save up the extra dough and get the 2.055 intake valves in my canfield 195 heads...

1st: Get the Edlebrock Vic Jr EFI. Same thing as Spyder, but cheaper (which is a copy of the Vic.)
You have to get the $80 matching Edlebrock fuel rails for it. (same w/ spyder)

2nd: order just the TB elbow from Coast High. They cost about $150

3rd: I would get the Lightning 90mm MAF and Accufab 85mm "race" TB.

4th: Get the Anderson 4" power pipe CAI with 9" filter.

3 and 4 will really open up intake path for zero restriction.

The Spyder includes rails and the 90mm elbow, the Victor Jr. EFI does not. The Edelbrock comes out to be more expensive once you buy the rails and elbow.

no times yet with this new setup...I ended up reusing my old intake and I was really satisfied with the 488 hp in the engin dyno... also I really need a new tranny... Truth be told its my daily driver right now and if I break it Im walking...lol... but my engine builder (Zane Bates) said a similar motor came through his shop that went 10.70 consistantly with a 3000 lb car with driver in it....

Plus CHP also offers the Fuel line kits for the jumbo rails to fit the stock fuel lines I believe...

I would keep the TFS upper and lower intake just as some spares or if I ever needed extra moola I could get rid of them pretty easily...

Sounds like a bad ass little engine. I agree with the 10.70 predicition if your car in in the 2900-3000 ball park with you in it. If your builder is the same Zane that I'm thinking of, you made a good choice in an engine builder. I've heard alot of good things about him and I see him post alot of good info on a couple other sites that I go to.

Ask Zane or dyno it with and without the spacer. Every engine is different.
