Anything Special?
I have a motor from a 92 Steeda and was wondering if there was any difference between it and a stock 5.0. I also have a 351w from a 77 T-Bird. Right now Im strapped for cash but I want to build a respectable street motor to go in my 84. Any advice?

I dont know. The car itself was totaled and the guy I got it from was selling everything he had concerning mustangs. I got everything, including another 5.0 motor, 90 lx convert.(needed putting back together),86 GT seats, 3 interiors and a lot of misc. stuff. All for $500. Sold most of it already.

I didnt say it was a steeda motor. I said it came out of a steeda. I just wanted to know if there was anything special about it. I know that the car itself has suspension upgrades along with other things but I dont know anything about the motor. I really thought I could get some kind of input here.

Back in 92 Steeda was still in the bolt-on game, not turn-key cars. A customer could take their car to Steeda and have work done, but no cars for sale. They were one of the first to come out with aftermarket control arms and I believe that they had certain combos such as gears+cold air+t-body....., but no "Steeda engine" from what I remember. That's not to say that you got a car that Steeda worked on at one point in time (or someone put the Steeda emblem over the Blue Oval).
As for it being a Cobra---you're one year off haywood11 (unless you count the Canadian "sticker" Cobra), that didn't come out until 93. Even then the 93 Cobra didn't have white faced gauges---that came along in 94 with the SN-95. |

build the windsor !!! it's much stronger, has more torque and will cost pretty much the same amount of money, ( maybe just a few bucks more for some swap items but WELL WORTH IT )
