Intake bolt/stud question

Just installed my upper and lower intake. I used studs on the lower. I did NOT use RTV on bolts 5, 6, 7, and 8. Should I remove them and use RTV?
Thanks.

I never use RTV on the intake bolts and I have never had a leaky bolt. I think that is a Chevy problem.

+1 big issue on the SBC 305 and 350. big blocks too but not quite as common.

and no need for any RTV really unless forced induction. not enough pressure in the intake to lift anything to make it leak.

I use RTV on every gasket accept for the head gaskets. Nothing beats a tightly sealed engine.
