I Need Help Asap!!

ok, i know you guys are the 5.0 experts so i need a few tips, I have a 65 mustang and just picked up a roller motor with some gt40p heads. My dad isnt the type to completly trick out a motor, So all i want to do is drop a cam in with the least possible mods i have to do. I want to go with the b303 cam and some trick flow valve springs because i like the choppy sound of that perticular cam. Will this be ok? or do i even need to change the springs?

please help

What Trick Flow valve springs? They make more than one set. I'd probably choose a different cam though. Any cam that is bigger than stock is going to have a choppy idle. The F303 or even the E303 would be a better choice.

If you are stuck on Ford Racing cams I'd go with the F303 with the heads you have. Comp Cams has some decent off the shelf cams too.

Comp Cams XE270HR (part number 35-351-8) or maybe the F303.
