should i port the throttle body?

so ive got my buddys dremel for a while today, and i was thinking about proting the throttle boddy BEFORE the (having a brain fart and forgetg the name) butterfly, to increase the velocity of the air coming up to the butterfly

do it, Knife edge the side of the butterfly that faces out. I also ground down the throttle shaft and screws that attach the butterfly to the shaft.
