Top end questions...

So I am piecing together a new top end for my LX and I'm almost done, just gathering up the last few pieces. I have gathered a TFS Track Heat upper/lower, 24lb injectors, '93 Cobra 70mm MAF. TFS Twisted Wedge heads are in the works. Then all I'll need is a tb and cam/lifters.

My questions are these:

1. Since I have to get the Cobra ecu for it to run properly (think I may have one but not sure) with the Cobra MAF, would I be better off going with an aftermarket MAF calibrated to the 24lb injectors? If so what brand/size?

2. If I go with a different MAF will my current ECU be sufficient for everything, 24lb injectors, etc?

3. What size throttle body, 70 or 75?

4. I am currently running an E cam. I want to take a little step up but I want to still keep it streetable and don't want to sacrifice too much in the way of economy. I just want a little more. It's my daily driver and I get 20 ish if I keep my foot out of it. I'd like to stay as close to that as possible. Any suggestions?

I'm still a newb when it comes to Ford and performance cars in general so thanx in advance for the help I know you will provide.

haha wow, my exact problem just appeared in this thread! i just put some gt40p's and a trickflow stage 1 cam in my car with a cobra maf and computer and 24lb injectors, runs like shit, put an 89 computer in it with the cobra maf(which i know doesnt work, theyre not interchangable) and it runs a lil better, im currently sitting at home waiting for my pro-m maf calibrated to my 24lb injectors, hoping this will fix my problem

so basically, a mustang dyno shop here told me my problem was the cobra computer does not like cam changes and runs like shit if you put anything aftermarket in it

ill let you know any minute now how my car runs with the pro-m and 89 computer

Ah, so it probably wouldn't even like my E cam. Let alone whatever I end up with. Looks like I'll be selling them off then.
