Steeda tri-ax FTW
All shifters mentioned in this thread are a good bet though |

Pro 5.0 is a good one as is the Steeda Tri ax. The best shifter I've had is a Pro 5.0 base with a Tri ax handle. Hurst shifters are decent too but they are a bit harder to find 3rd gear with. B&M shifters work decent but the handles are a bit too tall for my liking.

I've had a few pro 5.0's and was very happy with them but right now im using a hurst billet plus or whatever it's called with a pro 5.0 handle and haven't missed a shift yet. I'd say all shifters mentioned in this thread are good enough to concider.. Don't buy an upr one though, total crap and i've been able to break a tri axe shifter before but was most likely my fault.

I have a pro 50 and love it. The others mentioned are great shifters also. Don't really know anything about the summit brand shifters

I took 2.5 inches off my B&M and threaded a t-handle hust knob on it and it is sweet. It fits me great.

ya i ordered the steeda tri ax today but the guy was really pushy about the B&M ripper shifter though he said its better cuz its one piece but a removable handle seems more practicle when you gotta pull the trans

You will be much happier with the Steeda shifter I think.

The Hurst is the best looking for old school and the tri-ax has the best spring action for third gear. Combine the two and you will rock.
