ONLY THE BEST KNOW-IT-ALL's please

Im stumped and i have no clue why its happening.

If some of you know me, i had a problem before i built my top end. I would get TOPS 130 miles per tank. Also had long hard starts and NO fuel pressure.

I did a complete top end kit, 255 fuel pump, sn95 fuel rails, (USED) BBK adjus. fuel regulator, fuel filter, fuel injectors and MAF.

I still have both problems.

I have NO fuel comming out of my regulator. No fuel leaks, plugs look great and smell good.

I filled up and drove it for ONE day. Im at half tank with 60 miles on it. I put a fuel pressure fitting on the fuel rails and turn the key on....thats it. JUST ON and the pressure shoots up to 40-45psi and then shoots down to 10psi just as fast as it shot up to 40-45. Then slowly to zero.

Im stumped..... SOMEONE????

Do ya have a hole in your tank? Hey, its a logical question.

If you're having hard starts, your ingition may be going to the way-side. Whats your compression?
Is everything tuned to take advantage of your mods?

my aeromotive reg only held pressure when the car was running

and i think you possibly are running too big a injector
are you running a 302??? how much boost
black smoke out the pipes?
if you are running rich you will get a hard start and shitty mpg

haha, nope. No hole in tank.

NO more hard starts, that problem is fixed. My compression is good too.

Good to know youre regulator doesnt hold unless its running. Mine is the same way.

I should redo my Sig. Its just a 302, no stroke or bore. GT-40X turbo swirl heads, f303 cam, trickflow street heat upper and lower, 24lb injectors, PMAS for 24lb injectors, bbk regulator, sn-95 fuel rails, jlt cai, 1.6rr's, shortys, catted h-pipe and catback.

Not exactly sure whats wrong with it. I will have it dyno tuned soon. I just finished up the build on monday.

Let me get this right....you had same problems i do. Which are horrible gas milage and no fuel pressure....was all contributed to a shorted wire? hahaha. Come on.....

I am having no running issues either. NO loading up, no misfires. everything runs perfect. NO rich fuel smell. Im going crazy over here.

it seemed like u didn't believe what Turbo just said....

and looking at ur current mods and what u have in ur sig, it seems u plan on strapping a s/c on her... if u haven't updated ur fuel pump, u will need to eventually.

it couldn't hurt, and if Turbo was wrong, it's not like u wasted the money, it's something u were going to need to do anyway...

96 i already put in a 255 Walbro. Its not the pump.

And Turbo....Keep youre monkey ass out of my posts....reason i put in "know it alls" That DOESNT include YOU. Because youre a moron and i have pointed out all youre retard comments in the past. Youre stupid....not me.

Its a good pump and i dont rush things.. So from here on out. you have NO reason to say anything back to me, or even comment after this. So keep out of my posts. Understood? You have something to say, PM me. Or even come find me and we can work it out in person?

Did you ever consider the used regulator may be the culprit?

And if youre in NH just about everyweekend why dont you tell me where? Maybe even a phone number to reach you at. Nothing more i hate than little pukes like you who troll forums and piss off people like me.

Yup, but i cant prove it. I have no fuel comming out the vaccum line and nothing leaking externally. Im either going to pinch off the line going back to see if its the problem, or im just going to replace it. the person i bought it from is one of my best friends and never had a problem. Doesnt mean couldnt be bad. But its realistically the only thing left.
