is it just 302 ci or can it be a stroker? theres a thread on sbftech.com where a guy is building a stock block, non stroked or bored, 302 trying for 9's i think

complete stock engine turbo cars have been in the 9s repeatedly and reproducibly. I would guess someone has taken a stock 302 bottom end into the 8s by now.

I watched a guy not long ago, run an 8.70@150+mph with a single 88mm turbo, with a stock block 5.0L 302. The car only made one 8 second pass, but still made the pass.
