What maf to get

So I'm swapping over to another 302 in the upcomming weeks. this one has 30lb injectors. I have a c&l cold air intake calibrated for the stock injectors. I have a v2 strim, but She's going on later. So I wanted to purchase a maf calibrated for the injectors so I can ride around all motor for a while.

the thing is idk what size to get. Late model restoration sells like a 73mm 75 and 76mm maf calibrated for the injectors but idk what size fits.

For referance I took some pics

If you already have a C&L meter on there all you need to do is buy a calibration tube for the 30lb. injectors, they are like $20 and you'll be able to keep the meter that you have now

if you have a stock MAF in there then just go with a 75mm calibrated for your injectors, the 75mm 73mm etc is the inside of the pipe not the outside size. heres a pic for reference, i went from stock to 75mm

What is that power pipe from? It doesn't look like one for a fox Mustang with a Vortech. It kind of does except for the big thing welded on the side unless that was added later for a larger bypass.

With a power pipe, you will need the rubber boot that connects the pipe to the SC (big curved hard rubber 90degree elbow about 4in diameter) and one to connect to a fender mounted MAF sensor which would vary depending on what MAF you have. I don't think any C&L MAF's are fender mount but with a recal kit, you can make it work now.

An Example of an Anderson PP

The welded hole is just for the bypass hose to reconnect at the intake. The pipe is about 3.5 inches, and I can't say that I've measured it. I know I could get a rubber coupling, but I wouldn't even know were to find one that goes big to small to fit the right maf. And IF I do what maf to buy?

I'm convinced I'm ganna go n/a for a while tull I put together some other odds and ends for the vortech kit and what not.

Yes, cheap way. All you are doing is fooling the mass air meter which then fools the computer.

if you end up buying a new mass airflow i have a sct one on my car it has a 4in od you would have to get it tuned but you wouldnt max it out its good for 1000hp so if you end up running more boost later you wouldn't peg out your airmeter it has a new style connector so you would have to either buy adaptor off of sct or get one of a new mustang like 99 up or you can get one from ford
