no start

so the big car show is in town and my car wont start i got fuel pressure and spark the timing is set is it possible a coil could put out spark but not enough to fire the motor

yea it is possible, what color is the sparK? did you use that old screw driver trick to test for good spark.

Dont mean to hijack this thread but Im having similar probs. How do you check for spark? My car will turn over but wont start. I do have fuel pressure though.

check blaster coil, and icm (on distibutor) i had the same problem. I ran tests and it seemed like power was stopping around the coil so i replaced that with an msd, and still the same crap. So i replaced the icm on the distibutor and it fired instantly
