351 Heads on a 302???

Question

351 Heads on a 302???


I have a 302 block and 351 heads and upper intake .. would i have to get into camshafts or anything else like that or can i just slap the intake and heads on?? all parts are off of 1991 vehicles

you can put the heads on, but did the intake come off the 351 or 302 cuz if it come off the 351 you can't use it

a 302 upper and lower or a 302 carbed intake

Why do you want to put 351 heads on a 302???? There is no benefit at all with 91 351 heads over 91 302 heads. You would be better off getting a set of heads, intake and throttle body off of a 97 1/2-2000 V8 Explorer or Mountaineer.

yea the 351 heads dont really flow any better than the 302's..

The deck height on a 351 is bigger than the 302's, so the lower intake will not fit. Upper will, but I'd toss in another vote for don't bother. Not worth the time and effort.
