no oil pressure
I have an 82 5.0 i just recently had to put a new top end on it because of 12 snapped off bolts. the top end is a set of e7 heads off of an 89 5.0 and a dual plane intake with a holley 650 double pumper on that. my question is my oil pressure at idle is now absolutely nothing and while driving it only goes up a little bit...could be a bad oil pump or is it the sender.

Connect a mechanical gauge to know exactly what pressures your carrying and go from there. Are you sure the drive rod from the distributor to the oil pump is in place?
