So basically if he does the normal H/C/I would it be worth it? definitely get what you're sayin bout the not worth it for 10hp but I like to think of the future when I do a buildup also.

Go with the longtubes dude. I just installed bbk lt's on my 90 gt and i really like them. They sound great with an O/R h-pipe and it pulls alot harder on throughout the powerband with basically stock everything else. My stock exhaust came off easy and if you take the motor mount bolts off and take the steering shaft out of the way and other odds and ends the lt's will slide right in. I had to cut the horseshoe piece of metal off the steering shaft and get different bolts and spacers for where it bolts to the steering rack but that wasn't that bad. Go big or go home you're gettin a 347 anyway right

For as much as everyone hates on them... my BBK long tubes went in very easily, and have given me no problems since. Took about an hour with a buddy.

I personally would rather give up an average of 5-10 HP and not have to mess with long tubes. Specially since I already have an exhaust with shortes that is in good shape. To each his own.
