spark help


Hi I just changed my plugs and wires and everytime I start the car and drive it for 5 minutes it doesnt idle right, it idles at 1500-1600 rpms and it fluctuates. I also think its running rich anyone have any ideas for me

check the gap on the plugs.

They are the same exact plugs that I had in before, where should I check for a vacuum leak?

Being the same plugs don't mean squat about gap. All it takes is one little bump to throw it off. Every one of the eight NGKs I put in my car had a diff gap out of the box.

Do you think it could be the TPS? Next time it does it shut the car off. My tps is starting to go and when it starts acting funny and I shut it off and start it back up its like it resets or something and it'll run fine.
