Hey guys i have an 87 mustang and im replacing the rear bushings on the aftermarket Upper and Lower(rear) control arms. I got one sides back ones off and was hoping that this would be enough that someone could point me to getting new ones somewhere and ones that will actually fit my Control arms. Sadly i didnt install the Control arms so i dunno the company brand. And i need some serious help.

Now i got a general messurement of the bushings and am hoping you guys can help me so i can actually get the correct size and type of bushings that will work and fit well on my Stang. So here are the messurments With Pictures.

Metal Sleeve - Length = 3 inches.
- Outside Diameter = 3/4 inch.
- Inside Diameter = (about) .47 *B/c a 7/16 bolt fits into the sleeve*
Bushings - Inside Diameter = 3/4 inch.
- Outside Diameter = 1.5 inch.
- Flange Width = 2.125 Or (2 -1/8)
** Bushing = 1 inch. to Flange and 1.5 inch. long **

Also i only so far have been able to the back of the right lower control arm ( see picture 1 ) so i only have 2 bushings off b/c the spring will pop in my face if i were to drop that thing all the way and there is a lot of tention so i could only do a little at a time, but i hope this is enough info for help.

You should be able to just buy a rear bushing kit bro. My buddy just bought a polyurethane kit and came w/ all rear control arm bushings for under 100 and they work w/ the stock pieces or the aftermarket ones he's buyin.

Well the thing is i dunno the aftermarket control arm Company (b/c i didnt install them) So i dunno what type it takes, ive looked at the store and they all look different. So i was assuming that aftermarket bushings arnt universal.
But is there anyway ya could find out where your buddy bought the Poly kit, or a link.
Like i said im stuck b/c the "stock" ones dont fit and arnt the same and i dont wanna spend $80 on ones that wont fit. Anyone have any advice, anything helps! Thanks. - The Novice.

polyurethane IS THE BEST THEY ARE MADE FOR HARD ABUSE LOOK IN JEGS UNDER BUSHINGS OR CALL THEM THEY WILL KNOW EXACTLLY WHAT U NEED THERE !! OR ANY OTHER MAJOR PARTS DEALER YOU DECIDE (SUMMIT) ECT....
