5 Lug


so i was looking for a 5 lug for my 86 gt
and i keep seeing brand new kits for 600+ or i keep seeing parts for a 5 lug converse from old explorer

so was is the best and cheapest way to get a 5 lug


and pls list all the parts i would need to get

Man if you already have a nice set of rims, just keep it 4lug. Besides for some added strength theres no difference. Front brakes do almost all the work, and you have front discs. Personally its an extra 700-800bucks you can add somewhere else.

that may be true about saving money but i want try to gets some black bullitt rims to try to make 86 bullitt mustang project

Lincoln mk7 front rotors and 5 lug axles in back, you can swap the SN95 rear brakes and axles. Should be able to do it for under $500, not including wheels.

just to make sure i have this right, i can take the front brakes rotors from a MK7 the rear axle but i have to get the rear breaks form any year sn-95

I used 90 lincoln mk7 rotors, and ranger rear axles out back, cost me 100 bucks at the junk yard for the axles, and I got the rotors new at autozone for 42 each...add some gear oil, friction modifier, and rtv.....that is the cheap.
