sn95 help!!!

Ok guys and gals, this is my 1st thread on here and i need some help big time.
I have ALWAYS been into Mustangs but ive never had a chance to build one for myself until now. I'm coming home from iraq in 6 months and i have just bought a 95 GT. now, as a soldier w/ 3 kids lol im on a pretty tight budget of 6500 and i know some basics but not really a whole lot. ive got couple a lists of parts that i can get in budget BUT i really don't know whats the best "bang for my buck" horsepower wise so here goes... the car is 3900 and has about 113,000 on it. i have roughly2600 for parts...

list 1

trick flow twisted wedge heads - $1286
bbk fenderwell intake - $161
bbk longtubes w/ x-pipe - $445
e-303 cam - $169
30lbs injectors - $280
255lbs fuel pump - $125
70mm throttle body - $250
total - $2716

list 2

306 block (blueprinted and complete) - $1599
intake
exhaust
cam
trickflow trackheat intake manifold (upper/lower) - $455
total- $2660

list 3
heads
intake
exhaust
cam
intake manifold
throttle body
total - $2766

like i said im new at all this so if you guys could give me some pointers id really appreciate it thanks.

sounds like a good plan.

search around our 5.0 section/ check some of the stickied topics to get a good idea of what kind of set up you want.

I'm running a 306 on my 91 currently.

The first list is good but there is so much you can buy for cheaper. Check out the classifieds on The Corral - Home You can buy new heads on there(guys change set ups all the time) for cheaper than a new set of TW. For what you get the BBK CAI is overpriced. I bought mine from americanmuscle.com for 70 bucks and it does the same thing and looks just as good. I bought my FMS 30lb injectors off ebay for 100 bucks and they were rebuilt and perform just like new. FYI, Walbro makes just about every fuel pump you see out there, so keep that in mind. I found mine for 99.00 shipped. As far as the TB you can find them used too and really, what goes bad on them? My point is, if you do your homework like alot of us you can find good quality parts slightly used and save yourself alot of money towards others.
