Clutch Prob When Engine Is Cold?

ok so from my title your all prob thinging what????...but thats what im thinking but then again this could be normal thats why im asking......when i first start the car and just let it sit for like a minute and then drive ...and the motor is still cold ......when i push in the clutch it is 1) harder than normal to push down...and 2) it almost sounds like it bangs out of gear(thats the only good way to describe it).....and then when i let out the clutch and i feel it start to grab and i give it gas it just does not mesh into the next gear smothly ...but when the car is completely warm i get none of this and can shift into every gear parfectly smooth...and it is easy to push down???

Maybe drain your tranny and put in new fluid? How old is your clutch and cable?

its not even a year old itll be a year old in february...i got a brand new one and cable installed when i first got it cause the cable was shredded and caused my clutch to blow and i didnt no ....at first i thought it might of been the cable going again cause on my friends old 5.0 he had to replace the cable on more than one occacion that he owned it ..so i figured it might be going again cuz the pedal was stiff to push down ...but once the car warms up everything is fine idk im gonna check a few things out in the next few days see if it persists...hopefully in some weird way its a freek quirk thing

What about clutch adjustment?

Do you have long tube headers? I had to put wrap on my cable as the cable was melting/over heating even though Mac puts a small heat shield/bracket to help this. Thought I'd ask.

The cable was stiffer when cold, and loosened when warm, the covering melted. It was also original so it this may have contributed to the problem. I should have paid closer attention when I installed everything, but thought the little shield on the headers was enough. I have replaced the cable but should have went with a fire wall adjustable type, it's a PITA to crawl under the car to make any adjustments.
