Victor for the street?

Hey guys I have a 302 that is ported with headers a B303 cam MSD and a C-4 with a 2500 stall, and 3:73's. I also hit it with a 150 shot on a performer intake. Can I run a victor or a single plane intake on the street. right now I have a demond 625cfm if that helps. And on doing something like this or shoud I just go with a rpm intake? Thanks

Streetability is not dependent on a single part, it is dependent on the entire combination. A Victor Jr can work fine on the street but I'm not sure that it would be the best intake for your application.

not many supporting mods. victor jr might do ok but not a victor. i had a victor jr on my 302 with ported e7's e303 cam and long tubes. i slapped a smaller intake on and picked up like 3 tenths in the 1/4. this was with a shity 600 edelbrock carb.

i'd go with the air gap intake, the victor jr and victor probably will slug your car a bit with that big of an intake, IMO.

don't forget he's running a 150 shot, he'll give up a little on motor but will have a better distribution on the spray , and i'd rather lose a tenth or 2 on the motor then lean out a cylinder on the juice

The single plane will work better with the spray but its pretty hard to do any damage with that small of a tune up.

Thanks for the info guys. I ran a tunnel ram for a year and loved the top end but no low end killed me. I had dual plates on it and WOW it hit hard. Just wanted some more top end without killing all the low end. I cruz at 55mph around 2800 rpm's. I just wanted to know how people liked the intake on the street and if I should get one or a air gap. Any words of wisdom on a torker or x-celerator?

If you want top end without killing your low end then put together a well matched combination.

What would be a well matched combo with or around what I already have?
