Anyone know the correct bolt sizes for the T5 to bellhouse, and bellhouse to block?
My 86 5.0 had all sorts of different bolts holding the T5 to the bellhouse and the bellhouse to the block. I'd like to get all brand new Grade 8 bolts from Ace Hardware to put it all back in. Some of the bolts had multiple washers so a longer bolt would fit I guess rather than getting the correct piece. I don't want to put it back together all rigged up like it was.
I notice Late Model Restoration, aka 50resto has a bunch of bolts and I emailed them asking them for this information, along with a quantity of bolts I'd need so I could order them from them, and they took 4 or 5 days to write back, and still said it'd be next Tuesday before they could tell me. |
