Speaking of horsepower, what is your set up and where did you dyno it? You seem to be losing alot of power thru the drivetrain.

Hey Man, I just recently picked up a BIG END 31" 3core Aluminum Radiator for $189.99. I also picked up Flexlite 210/220 Dual 12" Electric Fans. $220.00. Lastly picked up a Nice Aluminum Catch Can and my car runs cool as Hell now. If your throwing down that much HP, I would def. invest into a nice cooling system. What ever you do dont ever buy a BECOOL radiator. They are nice but both sides are plasic and are crap.

No need for more than a single row when using aluminum. I don't think I've ever seen an aluminum that was a three row. Aluminum disapates heat alot better and having a thinner radiator increase airflow thru it.

That's because you don't use dirt track radiators.
![]() Most dirt track parts supply places will carry the 3 row for the high performance 4 cylinders believe it or not. We can't even run a 2 row in ours without them hitting 240.

Wow. Do 4 cylinders run that much hotter than V8s? Or is it more relative to the dirt track? My buddy road races all over the country (Willow Springs, Road America, etc) and he runs a single row aluminum in his car. He said with the oil cooler and power steering cooler in front a thicker radiator would make the car run hot due to lack of airflow thru it.

Yeah man the high performance 4 cylinder cars never get enough speed to really have good air flow so we run dual fans, 3 row aluminum radiators and 160 thermostat. Going in circles never made since to me but it's fun as hell.
