Flywheel question???
I just send my transmission to get repaired and i now see the flywheel. I'm wondering if i should change it or not. I was looking on ebay for lightweight flywheel (13lbs). if i put on the lightweight flywheel, do i have to change my clutch?? Can i keep my stock clutch? Would putting on a lightweight flywheel be a good modd??

Well to me, its an oppertune time to pick up a nice clutch and lightweight flywheel. I would consider doing it now just for the shear fact that the trans its already out and its pretty easy to install. I would tell ya what kind of clutch to pick up but im not sure on your mods/plans with the car. Spec and Centerforce make sum bad a$$ clutches. Give us some more info on ur pony.

With those mods I would have the flywheel turned, install a new clutch and put it back together. If your clutch looks ok then don't even turn the flywheel and just put it back together. Use your money somewhere else that will make a bigger difference.
Not trying to be a smartazz at all so don't take me the wrong way. Have any pictures of the clutch disc by any chance?

Just have it turned, costs around $25 at any good auto parts store with the equipment or machine shop.
