pro chamber ??

ok so i'm selecting a mid pipe im getting long tube headers either mac or bbk and i was planning on an h pipe because i like the sound i know an x flows better but its to raspy for me. then ii came across a pro chamber wich seems to sound pretty good on youtube. i was wondering the benefit of a pro chamber i would most likely pair it with mac LTs and i have a bassani catback

they sound really good, keeps the flow of an x-pipe with the deeper sound of an H. the only problem is it makes your exhaust a little quieter, but not enough to make me not want to buy one

I run a pro chamber on our 92 LX show car.I love it.It sounds like an old muscle car at idle. It's good on the back roads, load but not loud enought to make a cop come after you. When you stand on it HOLY COW it's LOUD.

It's really a nice pipe.I also used to run 2 chamber flows in the rear. The drone was unbearable,so we put the MAC Flow paths on WAYYY better. No drone and a nice growl to it.Good stuff.

Pro Chambers sound good but ground clearance sucks, especially on lowered cars. Maybe they have redesigned it but I haven't run one in a few years because every car I put one on I couldn't get into a driveway without grinding the Pro Chamber on the concrete.

i just took my Prochamber off. you're right, Darrell, the ground clearance does suck, at least on my car, and i'm only lowered 1.5". i had a Dr. Gas o/r x with Spintech Prostreets on my car with the stock manifolds. after my Mac longtubes went on, i put the Prochamber on. it sounded good, but it just didn't do it for me. it did make the car a lot more quiet. so i had the Dr. Gas cut to fit the long tubes. i love the way the car sounds now...
