Is the car an original 5 liter car or is it an original 4cylinder car with a 5 liter in it now? Where was the a/f ratio at?

My 86 stock would have put out more than 165 and it has the shittyest heads ever offered on a 5.0

Not to sound like a dick head, but how do you know it is an original 5 liter car? What is the 8th digit of the VIN?

As far as that hack job dyno goes, I wouldn't be too worried until you have it dynoed at a real dyno......with the air/fuel hooked up. You need to know where your air/fuel ratio is at.

Ok, good. Go dyno it at a reputable shop and see where it is. Where are you located?

don't put a lot of stock into dyno numbers, as long as it's running fine and nothings amiss take it to a REAL DYNO aka the dragstrip. My buddies ranger with a windsor only dyno'd either 200 or 220 hp yet ran 11.70s so don't get discouraged
