Headers for stage 2 porting

Hey everyone,

I have a 89 GT with a 331 I just installed. I recently finished port matching the intake to the heads and just realized my BBK shorties will not work on the heads I have. I guess what I really need to know is there anyone that makes headers with larger port sizes. I plan on moving up to long tubes anyway but don't really want to take the time to port match the headers as I am very close to being ready to fire this thing up. Anyway any help is appreciated.

Thanks
JW

Port matching the heads to the intake has nothing to do with header fitment. For one you never told us what kind of heads you have.

I guess I'm not seeing where the problem is? What kind of heads do you have? Did you open the ports up to a big gasket and now the ports are bigger than the header primaries? If that is the case just get some headers with bigger primaries. BBK makes 1 3/4" headers.
