Smog Pump

Is there REALLY any reason I should leave my smog pump*on my 91? Besides emissions tests, since I do not have to worry about that .

I suppose all I need to do is plug the holes in the head and new belt? Or do I have to do the Smog delete kit?

smog pump deletes just so you dont have to run a shorter belt, kinda pointless when you can just run a shorter belt

I just recently removed all the Smog/Emmissions crap. They sell plugs for the back of your heads. The only reason it has that metal pipe the connects to the back of your heads is for cold starting, So the H-Pipe would collect heat and heat up your heads. The other reason was to shoot out carbon build up. But I picked up the plugs and plugged them up. And save yourself $40-50bucks and just remove the pump and run a shorter belt. Did you remove your A/C? If so lemme know because I have the exact belt that fits perfect.

Sn94, I plan on doing this to mine. Whats the belt number or size? The setup I'll be running is A/C removed, Smog delete and Electric water pump....
