94 z28 camaro cai, other then that stock vs. 94 cobra (my car) cai, pretty much stock. my buddy thinks he will take me but after driving both i think it would be close but that i would.

really we have googled it a couple times and have found that he runs a 14.2 stock and my car runs a 14 in the 1/4 which is to close to say so were gonna race but he is an auto and mines a standard

he's loosing more power through the auto tranny, like this guy said, if he had a shift kit it may help, but especially if you are starting from a stop you can actually launch your car

Hold the brakes down and gas it until the converter starts to flash. When you are ready to go, let go of the brakes while simultaneously flooring it. Helps if you put it in 1.

where did you get 215 i have a cobra. also according to several websites the stock 1/4 times of both are cobra 14.0 the maro 14.2

His car is a 240 horsepower (under rated) Cobra and the Camaro is an LT1 car, not an LS1 car. It will be a close race if he can shift that Cobra.
