First time at the track!!!!!!!!

Yeah i finally got a weekend off and got a chance to hit the strip. It was midstate dragway and Havana Illinois if anyones ever been there. anyway here are my times. let me know what you think. Mind you this is a bone stock engine except for an Fcam. Other mods are 73mm C&L MAF. 65mm throttle body 24lb injectors. K&N conical filter and a C&L air tube with an edelbrock wet shot fogger nozzle plumbed into it. I am running a sniper kit with 150 shot jets. Nitrous works Purge. MSD 6al ignition, blaster coil, and MSD timing retard control. base timing is 15* advanced. Battery trunk kit. Car is stock with all interior. Has aftermarket upper and lower rear control arms. Running goodyear drag slicks 28X10x15. built t-5 wc. 4.10 gears.

.3640 RT .1279
1.791 60 1.80
7.9539 1/8 ET 8.02
87.91 MPH 87.87

Sorry so long

fuel pressure looks fine , go up to a 65 on the nitrous jet , leave the fuel jet just were its at , and what do you have the MSD timing retard set on ? what plugs are you running ?

nope wrong guy. the name is james. I have my timing set at 15* base I only knocked her back 4 degrees on my msd timing control. I am using one stage colder plug i think it is a 23 autolite? when i set my base timing i put my controller at 7.5 degrees so that i could advance or retard 7.5* either way. i don't know if that's a good idea but it seemed logical in my book.

Oh, by the way i pulled the plugs after i got done running and they looked brand new. I figured there would be some deposits on them or something?

stock springs, tubular control arms in the rear, had to do a little modifications to the inner lip of the fender well.

stock is a 25 , you should be able to run a 24 , id run 14 base leave it at 4 retard , so you will basically be at stock timing , 65 and 36 jet with good traction should net you a 7.7 at about 89-90 range in the eigth
throw a cobra intake , Ecam and GT40 cast iron heads on it and you should be in the 7.40-7.30 at about 91-92 mph
