<-- i've been driving 5.0s for over a decade, i never run a front sway bar, always run 90/10s and 50/50s and skinny front tires and i've never had a problem, you have to use a little common sense, of course i can't barrell down an off ramp at 50 mph but otherwise there's no problems, the weight transferr and hooking up is well worth the tradeoff for me

Ok, cause I was thinking about pulling mine cause I think it might be bent from being used to hook on to to pull the car! So maybe I will just pull it off entirely, instead of replacing it.

And you said you were using the Summit Uppers, and what lowers?
Thanks.

Brett!

Alright, thanks Notch.
And those are doing the trick for ya?
Also, may sound like a dumb question, but what are the benefits of removin the sway bar?

Brett!

The sway bar weighs like 30lbs. and its sitting right on the front end. It gives a lot better weight transfer on the launch. If you take it off dont expect to take corners at 50mph, it will decrease handling, but it is not that bad and a good (free) mod to do for straight line performance

Well, I knew there was weight benefits, but I wasent sure if it was anything else.
As for handling, I dont think it will be to bad, since I have some 225's for the front for street use still.

If this was aimed at me... I was just chiming in on what I run... I wasn't trying to sway his decision...
