Help Please!


I have tried for hours trying to get the brakes on after putting in new inner wheel bearing and its like the roter is not pushed in enough to to the brakes on. wtf any help here is great

did you push the piston, in the calliper, where it is all the way open.

thats what i was thinking...too but i think he's saying the rotor won't slide in far enough for the caliper to clear the rim...but i could be wrong

well this has turned into a nightmare for a first timer.

It turns out the people who had the car before me(ass hats) left the old inner ring from the bering on the spindle and put a whole new inner bering on with NO outer bering so that when I tried to put mine on it would not put the rotor close enough for be to bolt up my brake. Bottom line is I only had a cotter pin holding my wheel on, and now I have to check the other side to see if they pulled the same shit.

Take a cut-off wheel, just cut the old race ALMOST through on both sides, and split it with a chisel. Try not to nick the spindle. What a bunch of ham n' eggers that performed that last operation!

I was able to get it off. Now im just waiting for a ride to the auto store. I kinda want to see how they did the other side but it will have to wait untill I have some more money.

mabey all the extra pressure on the outer break pad is what was making my car slow lol
