apr head studs
I'm ganna buy some gt40's off a member of the board, and I was about to buy some head studs.
Search Results For: head studs which ones for the 5.0 should I get of the top two?

You need to find out if the heads have the big 351 style 1/2" holes
like a lot of aftermarket heads have or if they the standard 302 7/16 holes. If they have the 1/2" holes then you want the top studs. When installing studs, you know to run the stud down finger tight then back it off 2-4 turns as needed to get proper thread count past the nut right ?

I do now, thank you for the helpful info. When I go to pull the crank pulley off tonight I'm ganna take a look at the new heads while I'm in the garage. I hope I have the bigger holes, it would be great not not have to spend the extra 20 bucks.
