car feels good!!
well it has been down for a few weeks with driveshaft problems and little upgrades and nitrous kit along with busy work days and very low funds things are starting to look up..
we hooked my nitrous kit up today its a wet kit with purge on a wot switch its a 100 shot i havent used it yet i was at my buddys house and he didnt have a timing light so ill proly test it tomorrow once i back my timing down to 10* its sitting at 14* now. but needless to say the other driveshaft really was killing me after i got it tuned and we gained 30hp i ran the exact same times as the old driveshaft and no tune... well hopefully ill pick up a tenth ot two now. and my tranny fluid was low cause it was spitting fromn the back cause the wabbaly shaft so i put a quart of syncromax from royal purple cause they only had 1 or i would have just emptyed it and topped it off but so with just one quart of that i noticed a segnifinant differnce in shifting response i will put 3 quarts in later on. cliffnotes: STFU and read it !!!!

but i tested the nitrous today and i effin love it... went to our privite dragstrip and brought it to 3k third then floored it with no bottle. then same thing with the bottle i noticed a difference big time so i wanted to know just how much.. so i was at 3k in forth then floored it waited a second ot so then flipped on the switch and the rpm went from 3500 to 4500 almost instantly and climed very fast. it felt very sound and seemed to run better on the bottle then just normal driving.... to bad N2O is very expensive. ill find out new numbers this friday and then saturday is my first barcket race...

so far is a 12.2 but that was before the tune and the aluminum driveshaft and nitrous. so i am am optmistic to pull out a low 11.

12.2 isnt bad but for the amount of time and money i have spent i think it should be more. you always want to go faster and i have been building my car soley to compete in "arizonas fastest street cars" easy street class which is dot tires,one power adder,11.5 and slower class. i am a pretty competitive person and i always strive to be the best in whatever i do and with my old hobby which was car audio i got bored cause for the class i was in i was the best in the region and 2nd best in the country. now i have a new sport that no matter how much time and money i have there will always be something better or faster that i can shoot to compete with that is what drives me and proly any other racer out there. i dont want to be the best at something best is boring.
sorry about the rambeling but i am just hard on myself.
