Still more problems

In my first post i mentioned that my 88 had a nasty squeak, its auto but it seems to be coming from the tranny, the car shifts fine and everything but it happens only when the car is moving, so i cant exactly get down there and look. Any ideas? and...i cant get the heat to work, the vents dont turn on and theres no signs of a messed up heater core. Any ideas here?

Does it only happen when you are on the gas?
If si then check the Driveshaft u-joints.

For the Heat check under the hood and make sure all the vaccum lines by the firewall going inside are good.

The squeak is very possibly a u-joint. Pull the driveshaft out and check the u-joints. It should be really obvious if one is bad enough to squeak. It will be really tight. As for the heat, check all of your vacuum lines. The switch is vacuum operated, that is how it switches from defrost to vent and so on.
