speedo cable


where does it connect to on the tranny?... my speedo's not working and i was going to check to see if it was disconnected before i ripped apart my dash to get the cluster out

i have an 89 gt with aod & it is near the back of the tranny on the drivers side. it actually hooks to the speed sensor which hooks to the tranny. hope that helps

The gear on the output shaft might have slipped back too. That happened to my T-5 because whoever did the rebuild didn't put the little clip on there. That was a bitch to fix just for a speedometer...lol.
