motor swap
So what is the fastest (while still doing a good job!) that anyone has done a complete motor swap. I am pulling my stock 302 and dropping in a carb'd 347 and I have over a week before school starts and the guy that is going to help me and pretty much going to show me how( newb on the other whole situation) says it is not that crazy just kinda time consuming and he likes to make sure he does it right. ( kinda like in bed
 ) so how long do u think it would take? Also how much does a stock 302 motor sell for with all the stock components, it has 163k on it and doesnt burn any oil that I can tell.

If everything is sitting there ready to go
Just unhook the old, pull, reinstall and hook back up. .... you can do it in a single day easy. Say 6 hours start to hood closed

Yeah the 347 is sitting in the garage along with the gas tank duel fuel pumps and lines ready to go in as soon as I can pull all my parts out, sorry didnt clarify that I was pulling the gas tank and such, so i am think 2 days tops?

4 days should be fine, but you never know when taking things apart where you might get stuck.
