You have to have a fuel disconnect tool the fuel lines coming from the tank and a SS line wrapped in what appeared to be a sheathing

There not plastic clips there metal. There are four of them. They all click into position around the fuel sending neck. The line has the metal clips in it that surrounds the neckand clips on . Plastic clips is for the fuel filter.

That's odd cause fuel eats plastic away. Maybe in 94 when then went to the sn95 body they used metal instead of plastic but every car i have worked on has always had Metal clips inside the fuel line that snapped onto the fuel sending unit.

This is the unit the pump sits in.

The lines clip onto it.

Yeah you have a small curved rubber hose that sits in there. The metal lines you see at the top, thats where the fuel lines connect to.

Then they are different from fox-body. I just did mine couple of months ago, didnt need any special tool for the plastic clips. They are same as in filter.

Here is a good instuction for the pump change: PennMustangs - Fuel Pump Install
