shit I'd do a custom ground cam, 150 shot and you should have a fast bitch. You should hang with blower cars all day.

that's what i'm saying. Do a custom ground cam you'll pick up more power and have it tuned for motor and nitrous with a boost retard for the timing like on an msd for when you spray and you'll be good to go.

Put different heads on it with bigger combustion cambers to lower the compression then boost that bitch! Spray is gay imo. Its not constant hp you only have it at the flip of a switch I wont spray my car until its a built 347 stroker with a KB blower on it

I would also like a blower or turbo for my 92LX. I dont know what my compression is though, how can I tell? and what is bad for a blower? Also I have flowmasters exhaust, which I heard was bad to with a turbo. So I guess I will have to go supercharger. Any help, advice or opinions is appreciated thanks.

just my opinion...
the nice thing about the nitrous vs boost is the horsepower is there when you need it and there isn't constant wear and tear of a blower wanting to make boost all the time or throwing belts ect. turbos make more consistant boost than blowers since they run off exhaust gas. say you are wanting to run 10 lbs of boost, the turbo will be at 10psi and stay there as soon as it spools up. a blower which runs off the drive belts makes boost as the rpms go up so you arent actually making full boost untill you reach higher rpms. also, since the turbo runs off exhaust gas that's free horsepower where as the blower takes horsepower to turn. but, my buddy ran a hellion 76mm on his set up and finally did away with it. he said it was a constant pain in the ass tuning ect. and expect to spend a good chunk of change on the dyno tuning the set up. just spray the thing.

There should be no shame in either set up... turbos are the most efficient horse power by far, and as long as you have a proper tune their can be almost no worries.. Nothing wrong with sc's, just that stang freak said the blower has to wind up with rpms thus making it less efficient as it runs off of power from the motor via pullies. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with nitrous as well, as long as its used properly just like everything else. I believe it comes down to opinion on power adders,.and cost of course

cost is definately a factor. my buddy spent more on dyno time alone on his turbo car than i had in my entire nitrous set-up
