AJSTANG Regular 1986 Mustang GT Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: OHIO Posts: 56	build list Here is my build list so far. I'm planning on putting a motor from fordstrokers putting out around 500hp. Let me now what else I need to add. The car will be for the street with the ocasional drag. Crate engine with approx 500hp TKO600 tranny with short throw shifter cervini 2.5" or 4" hood bbk long tubes and x pipe 3.73 gears gear install kit moser 28 spline axles subframe connectors rear upper and lower control arms tubular k member rims and tires I already have a flowmaster catback exhaust and upgraded my front brakes some. I'll probably just get new drums for the back and ss lines all around. Let me know what else I should be looking to get. Is the anything else I need to do for suspension or cooling?

What would a new fuel system include? I thought all I would need is a pump and regulator.

pump and regulator should do for fuel. and when buying the carb, dont go and get an 850 or anything. there are carb cfm calculators everywhere to check what size you should need. but probably nothing more than a 650. i suggest holley for the tunability.

and the aluminum radiator is a good one to add to the list as well as a good electric fan set up. taurus, escort, mark VIII, etc... but dont buy a flex a lite fan, they typically dont flow enough cfms. at least not the ones i have come accross.
