Can you zip-tie spark plug wires together or will they arc?


stupid wires keep touching the headers cuz of the stupid gt40p's, can i just ziptie them together?

Yes you can ziptie them together and if you do it right it can look good.

The way to make it look nice is to lay out the wires. Wrap one ziptie around all four wires loose. Next wrap a ziptie around the original ziptie in between each wire. Now tighten the original.

Eh... mine are ziptied and it doesn't look horrible. I haven't gotten around to making it look all nice, the motor swap was done in a hurry so I was going more with cheap and quick when it came to that stuff lol

Haha, trust me, I know. I've been working on cars since I was 5 and know from my own and mostly other people's experiences that it's not a good idea. However, when you're doing a motor swap in a 2 week period in the evenings after 10 hour work days... function will suffice over pretty. I only had the motor in the car less than a week before having to drive 1200 miles to AZ with it

i think ive heard that they can crossfire, and to cross them at 90* angles if you have to make them touch.
